Imbolc invites us to pause and notice the first signs of nature’s reawakening. Perhaps you can already feel the soft breeze of freshness in the air or the longer days gently becoming longer. It is a time to re-ignite our inner fire, realign ourselves and realize that even the smallest sparks can create great flames. <\/p>

For the first Celtic moon festival of the year, we humans can bring back the light, analogous to nature: bonfires, Candlemas, weather candles. There are many ways to symbolically connect with the re-awakening of light and the associated time of hope. <\/p>

Together we rediscover and revive Celtic and pagan customs and create protective shields for the coming year. In the company of loving people, we symbolically let a fresh breeze blow and connect with the winter spirits to purify and realign ourselves for the whole year. <\/p>

What does Imbolc traditionally stand for?<\/h3>

While the world is still in hibernation, Imbolc heralds the approach of spring. This Celtic festival, which is nowadays usually celebrated on the 1st or 2nd of February, marks the time of transition – from the dark winterly silence to life renewing itself and energy levels rising. Imbolc reminds us that the light is definitely returning and with it hope, warmth and renewal. <\/p>

The name “Imbolc” comes from ancient Celtic and means “in the belly”. This refers to sheep that are expecting their lambs at this time and symbolizes the power of nature to bring forth new life. Other meanings are “cleansing” \/ “washing” or also “entrance”, “inside” and even “in the womb”. <\/p>

It’s a time to honor our inner fire, nurture our goals and dreams, and prepare for the coming spring.<\/p>

In many traditions, Imbolc is associated with the goddess Brigid, a patron saint of light, healing and inspiration. Candles are lit in her honour and rituals are held to strengthen the inner radiance and bring a clear focus for the coming year. <\/p>

For Imbolc we bring together Celts and tantric influences in a playful and entertaining way<\/h3><\/div>

Our Imbolc celebration will be a soulful blend of Celtic magic<\/strong>, dance and conscious touch<\/strong>. At our Festival of Light, we also dedicate ourselves especially to the goddess Brigid, connecting with her and her power and clarity in a vision quest.
